Welcome to the Beginner Fingerstyle on Guitar course! This course is designed for beginners on fingerstyle who just don't know where to start, so we're going to be covering all of the basics. This course has several goals, but the overall goal is that by the end, you can break down and learn basic fingerstyle songs to play. The last couple of videos in this course are going to be breaking down a couple of sample songs I wrote specifically for this course. That way it utilizes everything we've learned, and you can use those tools to break down the average fingerstyle song for you to play. You can use just about any classical, electric or acoustic steel string guitar with this course. I do recommend watching the rhythm guitar course, either in conjunction with or beforehand. It's not 100% necessary, but if you have a little trouble with rhythm it's going to be a big help. Also remember to download any PDFs and MP3s that come with the videos to help with your practice. And if you watch the same video time and time again to really understand and grasp the concept, that's okay! It may take a while. Just remember, it takes time, patience, and most importantly practice. As long as you're practicing, it's not a matter of if, it's a matter of when! So just be patient and keep practicing. So I hope you enjoy the course! I hope you're excited to get started and just remember Happy Practicing!
